I was an idiot. He showed weakness, I wanted to take it down right then, HOWEVER, there really wasn't enough money in the pot to justify my aggressive dumbass move. What - $30 at the most?
Got stupid lucky on that hand. But I liked my play the rest of the evening a whole lot, however, after playing for 3 hours I was only up $6, so maybe my impatience was getting the better of me.
But, yeah, stupid is as stupid does. That was stupid does in neon lights.
Sigh.

p.s. played a couple hours of 3-100 spread at Garden City today. Bought in with $100, cashed out with $325. Was a loose table and I got no respect so I limped with AK and pairs and any suited connectors if family pot (and I re-raised max with any AA, KK, QQ, JJ if lots of callers of prior bets). I flopped a boat on one hand that was almost family and pumped up to $12 preflop. I had pocket 9's, board was TT9, so my push of $100 max bet, first to act, was considered an aggressive steal and one guy didn't believe me and called. That was sweet.
Another family pot I limp with AK. Flop comes A 3 T. I bet minimum $3, all 7 players just call. Turn comes another Ace, I check it this time and everyone gets a free card (one smart guy just mucked his hand). River comes another 3, I check, one guy bets out $20, I re-raise to $120 (max I can raise). Folds back to him. He thinks and thinks. He opens his hand. He has a 3. I cover my face. He thinks some more.
He calls.
Yee haw. I scoop and leave.
