What do you all think about having a combined WSOP Event - We can host it here in Santa Cruz or somewhere over the hill in your neck of the woods. I say we push a $100 Buy-In Tourney with a minimum of 40 players! We have 4 + tables to use.
what day would you like? and anychance it will happen for real this time first cancelation was my fault this second time around i had a major fall out and everyone canceled leaving me with 15 people from the normal game that showed up out here that i play with on wed nights. im down for doing one so let me know if you think it will really happen and anyone else that wants to give input as to what day and so on.
Within the next 2 weeks - It has to be a bit before the last $1500 No Limit event June 30th "Event # 52" - Maybe Saturday June 14th to give people time enough to plan for it? It would have to be a $100 buy with a minimum of 40 people. We can pay $1500 for first and second and then $600 for 3rd and $400 for 4th.
how about 75 dollar buy in // i dont really like the idea of offering a small amount to other various places unless of course the amount left over doesnt complete the designated amount for the prize pool. i like the concept of winners having to give back to the participants of the satellite whether or not its all participants or just the final table i think 10% is probablly a good number. im affraid 100 might be to high.
Looks like we have some different perspectives for the tournament. I do not really agree about the 10% back to the group players thing or not doing other payouts. I am going to just announce one like I did before on this side of the hill and see what happens. It would be great to have some inter league play though when we get more regulars over here. No worries!
Let me know if you guys need any help getting stuff posted, but I don't have enough time to help organize much right now. It turns out I might be going to Vegas for the June 30th weekend, but I don't know if I'll be playing in any of the real events.
Adrian wants to get to Vegas real quick and I don't mind visiting with him. Maybe a $1500 event, maybe not. Haven't decided if I want to be crazy or not. :/
well let me know what you end up doing i think james is gunna put together a 100 dolalr feeder tourney so maybe go lay that and see if you can free roll your way in
turns out adrian and i are thinking of hitting the wsop event the day or two before. $1500, same deal, etc. i'm going to try to play in james' game, and if i win, i'd surely extend my stay an extra day ;)
