Bad Day for Monarchs
A player in middle position pushed his last 15,000 in the middle, Jason Moungey called from the button, then Eugene Todd reraised all in to 60,000 from the big blind. Moungey called. Todd showed K-K, the MP player Q-Q, and Moungey 10-10. The flop came A-A-10, and Moungey went from way behind to way in front. The turn and river were both eights, and both Todd and the MP player were busted. Moungey is now up to 150,000.
So cool. I am in LA, but can't be in Vegas until Tuesday.

He texted me saying that he's playing super tight right now. I joked about the pocket 10's hand that E mentioned above. He seems to be in good spirits - obviously - and keeping things together. Hope he continues to do well - there's some serious names left in the field.
Congrats are definitely in order for Adrian too - he doubled his money!

Sun, 29 Jun 2008 23:35:24 Brewer Bounced Kirby Brewer pushed all in with his last 70,000 from under the gun, and Jason Moungey called behind him. Brewer showed , and Moungey . The board ran out , and Brewer is out in 20th place. Moungey is now up to 450,000.
