Contacting Pros

    • Does anybody know the best way to try and get a message to a pro poker player? Perhaps 2+2 forums? JC Tran owes me a thank you. He said he would say "thanks" if I doubled him up. I want to try and send a message to Andrew Black, too. He played on my left for many hours and was a really nice guy.

    • Jason,

I think if you try cardplayer mag or bluff mag, they have all the pros profiles where you can submit messages/emails to them. However, one can only guess how many creeps (like yourself) out there stalk these guys. So, it may be a long shot getting one of these messages through to them. And another thing, once you get arrested for said stalking, please don't refer to me in any way as tipping you off in finding these guys!!!

Haha, great job man. Where did you end up finishing? wish I could have been there!

    • Thanks for the tip, yo. Yeah, I suppose they get a lot of email from that, but I'll give it a shot. I'll make sure not to tell them you sent me ;)

I ended up in 12th place at around 2:30am on Day 2. Woo!

    • I looked at Bluff and couldn't find it. Gonna try CardPlayer (and post on 2+2 forums) later. Too many other things to take care of :)

    • most of them have websites....and or myspace accounts.

    • That's a good idea, Trish. Thanks. Maybe a bit less creepy than sending them an email directly, right? Heh.

    • Hmmmm. Couldn't find JC Tran's, though. I'll have to look harder later (unless anybody else has it handy - hint, hint!)

    • Myspace is definitely the best way. That's how the Denver GM filled his team with Vanessa Rousso, Chad Brown, Doyle Brunson, Hoyt Corkins, etc,

    • Wow, I didn't realize they really checked that stuff. Thanks. I checked for JC Tran's MySpace page, but couldn't find it. Boo!
