Worstest Baddest Beat

    • My starting Hand

I raise, 3 callers and then the button raises. I re-raise, all fold, button raises, which puts me almost All-In. I go All-In. Button Calls. It was almost a $2500 Pot at Bay 101.

    • Holy shit, man. 2-5 game? That makes me sick. My friend went out of the WSOP main event a few years back: vs . I said that was about the worst beat ever, but I think this takes the cake. Especially a live cash game for that much! OMG :/

    • It was the 10-200 game. I really like that game, but I just had a really really bad beat. I was there only for 15 minutes. I was so depressed. This was Friday night. Still not over it!

    • How is it a $2500 pot then?! Typo? $250 is still shitty, but a bit better :)

    • I guess i calculated it wrong...It was close to 2200.

I raised $100 Preflop, and 3 callers and then dealer raised $100+$200, I called and raised another $200 and he raised another $200 and i called..So I had close to $900 in the Pot!

It was a Spread Limit game, thats why the $200 bet.

    • Wow, and there I thought your AA vs. Jason's J5o was bad...

Hang in there, this is why we LOVE poker so much, it is all so twisted!

    • That's still crazy to think there was a $2200 pot at a 10-200 game. Tough beat, man. Is this game uncapped buyin? How did you have $900 in 15 minutes? I thought the max buy-in was $200.

    • lol, Max buy in $1000. Min is $400. I started with $700. I won 1 hand which brought me up a lil.

    • I haven't played at Bay 101 much. I guess the 10-200 is the "bigger buy-in" game? That makes sense since the smaller number is "10" I guess. The 200-max buy-in game would be 4-100? Eh, whatever. That still really really sucks.

    • Jeez that is harsh.

    • I just looked it up - 2.17% chance to lose when you have aces against aces. That's a 1-in-46. So, 44 out of 46 times you'll tie. Damn!

BTW, How do you bold the text? I tried following instructions..didn't work for me.

    • Two underscores with no spaces between them ("" and ""), then some text, then two more underscores.

    • BTW, does the $200 max bet get in the way when you are playing with $700 stacks? It seems like it would. Your aces hand had to be raised 4 times to get all the money in?! Weird. I guess aces don't hit up against aces much, but it seems like there might be some bad beats because you can't raise enough. Any stories about that?
