More forums needed?

    • avatar for Floppy
    • So far there are only three forums: General, Strategy and Site Feedback. What does everyone think about adding a few more categories? Perhaps something like:

      • Poker News, Articles & Book Reviews
      • Calendar (or Upcoming Events or something like that to announce upcoming tourneys)
      • Casino/Card Rooms (to post daily tournament info, buy-ins, structure, etc.)
      • Home games (to announce home games or to discuss home game-related subjects)

If I can think of more, I'll post them.

    • I like the idea of having more conversations about that kind of stuff. Does anybody else have ideas for any more forums?

Thanks for the info and for your patience while I explore and become more familiar with this site. So if someone"s not part of a league or a home game group yet but wants to announce a new home game and is looking for players or wants to join a group, should we just start a new thread in "General"? I guess for now, that"s the best thing to do.

This seems to be a pretty cool group who"s genuinely interested in good poker. I"m glad I joined.

    • For now, that seems like a great idea. We are working on a feature to allow anybody to schedule a one-off tournament that is not affiliated with a league. As for joining up on a league, it's up to the league members and organizers. The best I can suggest is to be active on the forums and try and meet up when people talk about it.
