60 Minutes to Air Segment on Online Poker Cheating Scandal
On Sunday, Nov. 30, the nation will be told about the online poker cheating scandal that rocked the poker world during this week?s broadcast of ???60 Minutes.? Titled ?The Cheaters,? the segment will focus on how online players uncovered cheating at UltimateBet and Absolute Poker. The story is a collaboration between ?60 Minutes? reporter Steven Kroft and Washington Post???s two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Gilbert Gaul.
?60 Minutes? airs at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

Heard it is a complete hatchet job on online poker. It is going to be interesting, to see if they just talk about the UB AP scandal or if they get into the who question of online pokers legality.

Thanks for the links Alexis and E. The whole "tribal gaming commission" stuff is really interesting. I knew the servers were out of the US and all that, but this explains a lot more about it. I guess I never really delved into it that much. I always assumed that these companies would do their best to make sure cheating and other corruption didn't occur, otherwise they'd lose a ton of money... I wonder if these scandals have made people think twice and stay away? Or are people that addicted and naive that it doesn't matter?
The article on Clonie just shows you should get a contract. Duh. But I liked the pics ;) Thanks. Hahahhah.
