   • So, I had this WILD IDEA on my drive back from tonight's game. A team poker event.

     4 teams:
     510
     408
     650
     415

     Not sure if we have enough players in all area codes to make this possible. We might have to limit the # of players from 408 (we might have too many in the 408). Or we could do:

     3 teams:
     East Bay
     South Bay
     Peninsula and SF

     This is just an idea, we would have to set the rules if enough interest is shown for an event like this. And find a host!

     What do you guys think?

   • I love this idea Parag. I loved the team Poker at Dave's house and when we first played at the castle we played teams. It changes how you play, because you are not just playing for you, but with someone elses money. Let's get a list of area codes from everyone and figure that out.

   • IM down if 650 has a team and picks me. I know if I go tryin to put a team together I am gonna be the bad guy for not pickin someone. Poker players being sensetive and all:) What would make this really dope is a 3 tourny match one in each area code. total points awarded with seperate prizes for team and individual. Making the team prize a little bigger would stop collusion also imo. KInda like dream team poker has done

   • Hey Tony, Are you in the BAP 2 League? I started a thread there with all the teams and I put your team down for the 650. I like the idea about multiple games in each area code. Individual and team prize. I like it!!

   • I think we should add Tony to the BAP league. Tony, if you are interested, please say here and I'll hook you up with the league admin via email.

     I like this idea. Perhaps it's worth starting a new league with the players who agree to do it? It might make the tracking and invites a lot easier... What do you guys think?

     P.S. I'm especially excited to have T on the team ;)

    • Go ahead Jason, This is your site. Start another league. I dont mind managing it if you want someone to do it. I guess there is a lot of interest. Now, I got to start thinking of rules. Ill try to come up with something soon.

      Kyle if you are interested, let us know. BTW, there is no 916 team. Who are you going represent? :-p

      id love to get in on the 510 team because the only ones that really know anything about us are tonys group its funny how everywhere we go we end up having 2 money cashers
      ill post some thoughts on the other thread but i really like this idea you had parag its something i told jason about a while ago and the three team thing with sperate home court advantages is a good idea thats another thing i wanted
