Can someone explain the benefit of hiding a screenname from being able to be searched in online poker (ie PS)?
Other than the obvious - so people can't see where you are playing. is it just a personal preference? I notice people do that a lot. I can understand hiding VIP stars from the table avatar but why the screenname. thanks.

Boss,
Let's get you signed up for a league so you don't have to post on the public forums so much. I'm not sure how you do that, but I think you need to be a guest to a game a few times.
Some people hide their screen name because when they talk strategy online, they don't want the other regs to know. Most people who don't mind sharing a screen name, ie online pros, have multiple ones. Food for thought.

I'm in 3 to 4 leagues on here.
I didn't know posting to the general area was bad. i guess i'll cut back.
btw, last i heard multiple screenames were illegal. if you get caught they'll close out all accounts.
did you see my email?

Just post in the stable forums and we'll talk there...

he meant multiple accounts on different sites i believe
the problem with posting in one league is that its not seem by all people on the site but depending on what your postin you definatly would want to do it in a safer forum
BUT as this forum suggests most the general stuff you post is ok BOSS just be careful

Thanks Kyle, Good looking out!
I've seen a lot of topics thrown in the general spot and I think some of it is good reading so i don't see the problem with doin the same.
