    • Darvin Moon - 58,930,000
      James Akenhead - 6,800,000
      Phil Ivey - 9,765,000
      Kevin Schaffel - 12,390,000
      Steven Begleiter - 29,885,000
      Eric Buchman - 34,800,000
      Joe Cada - 13,215,000
      Antoine Saout - 9,500,000
      Jeff Shulman - 19,580,000

I believe blinds are at 120,000-240,000 with 30,000 ante. They started the day with 27 players thinking this might take 2 days to get down to nine. Just like last year seemed people were in a big hurry to go busto due to the pressure. They git down to nine by 11pm. Do any of you guys know any of these players besides Ivey and Shulman? With a ton of play left you really have to like Ivey here even with a below average stack. I can see him just sitting there for a level or two picking spots and just watching every implode like 7 out of 9 of them do every year.

    • I have heard of James Akenhead, With an M of 15 or so he has time to wait and pick his spots but once level 3 at the final table hits. Looks like Harrington shoving seems like the play. You can see once it get's down to 6 handed or lower and if his stack is decent he will smash by taking alot of blinds and ante's preflop. I can see him either getting 2nd or 3rd or finishing 7th or 8th cause he was sucked out on.

    • Yeah tru dat. I don't know what the seating assignments are, but don't be suprised to see Ivey not shoving around harringtons magic m mark. He eats souls for breakfast when motivated so I think he is gonna be real patient and try to avoid a flip early despite his stack. Everyone calls real light now thanks to Harrington so as the times change.....I mean this final table does some freky chit to people minds.

    • Let's hope he is not in a flip situation early I would love to see him just run the table over. Just watching the BEST!!! player in poker today win the most prestigeous tournament would be a site to see.

It is cool that Ivey made the final table. Supposedly he stands to make more in side bets if he wins than the first place money. Durrr will owe him a million, Matusow another million, Andy Bloch 2.5 million. There must me much much more.

Interesting mix of players. I'm happy to see Ivey there. Jeff Shulman is stirring it up already: He said. "It was the easiest field I've ever seen in my life. I feel like everyone in the tournament was on Adderall while I was on Xanax." I just read that Steven Begleiter won his entry through a home-game league!!! Members of his league share 20% of his winnings :) Pretty cool. Is it too early for PokerSoupers to talk about another go at it?
