Thanks for the props Craig and Patti. It was fun to put that up, and I hope people enjoy the decorations. I think we are going to get on the hackaday.com blog, which is a big deal for us :) Garrett carved the emoticon pumpkin and I like it a lot. Mine is the smiley-dude and the evil eye.

Children???s Christmas Fund
The Fraternal Order of Eagles???.
We are People Helping People.
What better way is there to help out in your community than to help out a disadvantaged
child right here IN your community?
We???ve all seen and heard the commercials on TV and Radio about how you can help make
a difference in the life of a child. These children all seem to be in another part of the world.
Well what about the disadvantaged children right here in your own back yard? Yes, we
have them right here in the San Jose area! These are children whom, without your help,
might have nothing to brighten their Christmas. While we cannot make it a perfect world,
we can do something to make a difference in our own community.
The San Jose chapter of the Fraternal Order of Eagles is raising funds to take more than
100 disadvantaged children from the San Jose area on a Christmas Shopping Spree on
December 13th. These needy children are chosen by their Teachers, School Principals and
Counselors based on their improvement in grades, attitude or personal improvement.
Teachers and Administrators alike, have agreed that this event is a great way to get kids to
work hard to do well in school.
This is something these children will remember for the rest of their lives and your help is
needed to make their Christmas wish come true. A donation of ANY amount will go a long
way in helping make this event work. 100% of your donation goes directly to the kids and it
is tax-deductible, so you can feel good about helping out in your community!
If you would like more information on the Fraternal Order of Eagles
