    • For those of you into craft beers( I have been really getting into them) this place looks good. I dont know how far from the strip it is but seems like a good spot.

I like craft beers as much as the next Portlander, but I'm not willing to travel out past North Las Vegas to the damn Air Force base to get them. I'd rather hit up Ellis Island, a block off the strip ('behind' Bally's) and mise that whole not-on-the-menu $7 steak special with craft brewed beer or root beer. It's at a place called The Restaurant...

As for other places to eat, if you're downtown and looking for steak and WSOP nostalgia, head to Binion's for both. Marvel at the tiny venue that used to house the hoopla (and the corner where they used to play the final table outside) and head upstairs to Binion's Ranch Steakhouse for great food and views. Downtown is the place for cheap eats, too. Check out the snack bars and delis.

For a comprehensive list of Vegas restaurants, casinos and snide reviews of both check out cheapovegas.com.
