To the uninterested, uninspired and uninformed Soupers... After 40 plus tournaments and at least 60 different participants, the Stable recently concluded its 2009-2010 campaign. This misunderstood, gritty and determined band of players is sending not one---but two players to this year's 2010 WSOP {Event#30}. Thank you all for participating and contributing to the success and infamy (earned or unearned) of the Stable. Follow the Vegas adventure right here--- exclusively on the Soup! (content not rated) Stay tuned!

Gordo you are hilarious, but that was pretty well said lol. Another great year for the most consistant longest running game I can think of in the bay. Follow me during our Vegas adventure on Twitter, under the name boyitalia. Updates on all the hijinx and tourny action will be found there starting June 14th-19th. Recap of last year? Bad beats, kicking ourselves out of casinos, people falling alseep in strip club bathrooms, lost wedding rings, random funny pics, good food, and a smaller tourny cash or 3 :)

Here is the synopsis of what happened during my wsop. Was doing really well in the 200 buy in the day before got up to 24k from 15k in the first 4 levels when I picked up 10d 8d in the small blind after a 2x raise and 3 callers blinds 100-200. Flop came 10 8 7 2 hearts. I was almost positive utg raiser had aa since it was his first raise in 2 hours so i checked, he bet some amount like 2500(pot) and I check raised him to 9k he called leaving himself 10k behind(um ok) the turn was a 6 but no way he had 99 here so I shoved he called with a6 of hearts and I was a decent size fav ;) lmao river ace and im crippled. I took a beat to go out too but for the life of me I cant remember for some reason( called denial probably) So it was off to the 1500 the next day. My first table was really young and aggressive and i just watched them reraise each other for about the whole first level. When the blinds went up I told myself I had to adjust so I started reraising anybody younger than 25 with pretty much any 2 cards in position for the next 2 levels. This got me up to about 9k from a 4500 starting stack with about 2 showdowns, one a pretty sick value bet with 10's on a a39j2 board. I had seen aa once qq once and jj once for the first 3 hours. Here is the highlight of my tourny. I pick up kk in mid position with blinds 75-150 when guy limp utg. New internet kid that raised like 6 outta his first nine hands is on the button with his chips shuffling in his hand. I was about 99.8 percent sure he would raise if I limped so i did. bam internet kid makes it 850 and the utg raiser knowing the kid is squeezing there shoves 5k! I snap call and internet kid goes bonkers and lays his hand down. Guy utg says dang i was making a move and shows a10. I win that pot and now im in business again with like 16k. Internet kid strarts blabbing how can I limp there he is so suprised, I told him I wass not lol. I tried to stay agressive but my table adjusted to me though and I didnt go back into nit mode soon enough and picked up no hands for the next 3 hours and got worked back down to 14k at dinner break. as people started 4 betting the shit outta me. to be continued post below of course :)
