   • Tony made it through day 2. They are on level 9 and blinds are 600 / 1200. He has 132,900 chips which puts him in in 216th place out of 1359 players remaining (I think that's just group A though). They played til just past midnight on friday night. He's off on Saturday while Group B plays and then he's back to play day three starting on Monday at noon. I believe that's when all the groups merge and there's just one big field for the next 4 days until they get down to the final 3 tables.

   • Action started at noon today. Still 2304 people in it and have to make it through today and most of tomorrow to cash in.

   • After two hours of play they are on their first break. Not sure how many have been eliminated today, but Tony is up to 145K in chips.

     At the dinner break he was up to 272,500 chips. 1,456 people remaining in the tournament.

   • Day 3 is over and Tony has survived. There's about 1,240 players remaining and you need to finish in the top 747 to be in the money.

     Tony is down to 157K chips. They resume tomorrow at 12:00 noon.

     I wish I had some details about the ups and downs, but it sounds like it's all rest, eat and playing and very little time for anything else. It sounds like it's mentally and physically exhausting and he has to take advantage of his free moments to clear his head and relax.

     When this is all over and he gets home, I'm sure he'll jump on and share the details.

    • Here's some updated information: Tony has 157K chips and that puts him in 551 place out of 1203 remaining players. Chip leader has 803K in chips.

      He was chip leader at his table for most of the day. There were two hands that hurt him. One hand he lost 100K chips where he had pocket J's and the other guy had Q,10 and caught a Q on the river.

      The other hand he had A,Q and two aces came on the flop. One guy shoved and Tony snapped called. The other guy flipped over A,K and Tony was out kicked as he got no help on the turn or river.

      Play starts back up at noon today. Hopefully he can take a couple of pots and get to a comfortable spot where he can play.

    • They are down to 748 players and the top 747 make the money. Tony is still in and he says they are playing it one table at a time, one hand and a time. The cameras go from table to table to cach the "bubble" player and "bubble" hand on camera.

      Bad news is I think Tony is down to about 75K in chips. Good news is that he's still alive and kicken

    • We're in the MONEY!!!!!!!! He's guaranteed to be leaving the Rio with a minimum of $19,263. Out of 7,319 total players, he's in the top 10% and still playing. This is f@#$%^& great!!!!
