   • PokerStars would like to announce two changes to VIP Club Rewards effective October 1st. These changes are made after listening to input from players here on 2+2 and elsewhere.

     Effective October 1st, VIP Reward Bonuses purchased from the VIP Store will instantly reward players with cash. In the past, players had to earn VPPs equal to 7 times the dollar amount of the bonus prior to the reward being credited to their account. This requirement will be removed.

     This is awesome!

     what does purchasing a vip reward bonus from the vip store mean? what was it like before oct 1? did you "buy" a "$70 reward" and only get $10? i'm only asking because i think i'm going to go for supernova next year...

   • When you play hands you get vpp's(VIP player points). Depending on your level of play(I.e supernova) you get a Certain amount of fpp's(frequent player points) per each vpp. Supernova gets 3.5 fpp per 1 vpp earned. You can buy cash bonuses with your fpp. It is 250000 fpp for a 4k cash bonus. Before the change once you bought the bonus you had to play 7 times the amount of cash to clear it(4k x 7 =28000 vpp to clear it) the awesome change is now you don't have to clear your bonus. Once you by it you get it immediately!

   • i believe there are 20 total VIP Reward Bonuses in total that you can only collect one time each.
     The first five are $10 each, once you surpass certian FPP total thresholds.
     The next coulple are $50 each, at 2,500 and 5,000 FPP milestones, and so on.

     Probably many people are alreay entitled to there first VIP Reward Bonus but don't even know it. Because you acheive your first one after accumulated 250 FPPs = $10 rewad bonus.

     You just need to click to Cashier > VIP Store > VIP Reward Bonuses > purchase whatever you are entitled to

     It will cost you 1 FPP to make the purchase however...

     Maybe you guys already knew this stuff. I just learned about a week ago and was entitled to 6 VIP Reward payouts and didn't even know it

   • That's just stellar rewards. Those were already instant cash once you reached them. VIP bonus awards were not instant cash but now are
