Friends, family, and business associates of Dwayne Hassenplug!!! (And he has a TON of them!!)

My name is Steve Balbierz and I've known Dwayne for almost 17 years. (You know, back in the days when he had hair and it was always PERFECT) I remember golfing with Dwayne in the pouring rain and howling wind. We were soaked to the bone and the water was rolling off his head like the hood of a freshly waxed car. HA!! Sorry bud, had to tell that story and I know there are some people laughing with both of us right now.

Dwayne is an amazing man, and has truly inspired me during his fight with this deadly disease. I wish I could bottle up his positive attitude and pure refusal to let this thing beat him! We could just sell that and have all the money needed.

But, we can't....so let's raise some money!! Unlike Matt Andrews (God Bless you man!) I can't run a marathon.....but I love poker, and I am organizing a Texas Holdem Poker Tournament and Raffle to raise money for Dwayne.

But, I will need your help to make it successful!! There's all kinds of ways to help with this event. Obviously, the best way to maximize the bottom line "cash" for Dwayne is to minimize or hopefully eliminate all costs associated with the event.

Tentatively, the date is either May 16th or 17th starting around 12:00 noon. (Saturday or Sunday) I know that is relatively short notice, but time is of the essence! I expect the event to last around 6 hours. Entry fee will be $40 or $50 (with one $20 rebuy) My goal is to raise between $6,000 and $8,000 in one afternoon. (Maybe even a little bit more...No, not kidding)
