Poker is merely the activity, whilst the reason behind the FUCKING GILBERT POKER AND WINE MIXER is to get together with the boys/gals and spread the wisdom and legends that one can only share with years and years of experience (age) and dozens of dollars lost on tables such as this one. This group comes together once a month, or thereabouts, to spread stories, knowledge of the game, life, and most times, just some clear ass bullshit. There is a winner at the end of the night, but really, everyone who has ever sat at this table for an evening of mirth and tasty beverages is a winner just by being in the presence of a bunch of like-minded journeymen who love the game.
