    • Incredible! Unfortunately, Jason did not make the final table. But he did go out in 12th place. Amazing! Looks like he's snagged himself more than a $35,000 profit. Not a bad investment, Jason! Truly incredible. Excellent, excellent job!

    • Amazing performance Jason. The bar has been raised by Jason.

This is by far the biggest tournament success story by anyone in our circle. 12th out of 2,718. $36,729 prize.
The IRS will take almost 40% of that, approx $14K. Net profit of $22K. WOW!

    • Awesome job Jason and Adrian! Well done. And I thought I was hot sh*t for being up $1700 for the weekend on FullTilt....that barley covers their buy-in!

I hope Kyle cancelled his flight in time. :-)

    • An excerpt from Jason's June 25th blog entry: "Thanks to George, Ken, Kyle, Parag, Kerry, Bobby, Graham, and everybody else who commented on my posts. I'll hook you guys up if I win something :) "

Jason - how about you take us indoor go-karting? Let's go blow off some steam and compete over something other than money. You're the undisputed poker champ - so let one of us try to earn some bragging rights in some other fashion!!! :-) I'm totally kidding, of course, but that does sound like a fun way to celebrate.

I'm also glad to see that the spirit of the original Poker Meetup group has lived on, long after our use of the site and that a team of friends has rallied around to support and encorage you. It's a good thing we've got going, and I'd love to see a follow up story to the San Mateo Poker bust that included this thread just to show what this group is really all about!
