Still my favorite moment this year: After calling Phil's raise with 10 4 off and hitting the flop leading to a typical "Poker Brat" rant, turning the tables and telling Hellmuth " Im an idiot, not you are an idiot!!" It was also nice seeing the "The Poker Beotch" gettiing ko'd.

Of course, I was rooting for the chick until I saw how obnoxious she was. She didn't have to treat the guys like that. She wasn't a good ambassador for ladies poker that's for sure. Now I'm hoping the trucker guy wins. He seems like a regular "Joe". Chino may be a contender.
I'm with Jason as far as my change in attitude toward the "waiting until November" hype. I'm actually looking forward to watching it on 11/11.
Who are you guys rooting for?

Chino vs Joe "The Truck Driver" heads up :) It'd be nice to see a pro win one of these times, too.

I like Joe the Trucker Guy and I want to root for Kim too. He is pretty good laying down those Skirts against quad 7's.
WAS MIKE THE MOUTH CRYING? THERE IS NO CRYING IN POKER!!! LEAVE THAT TO BASEBALL. POOR MIKE.

My recent favorite moment was last week, when the Russian guy Losev pulled out a stack and then pulled it back. Then Brandon Cantu was mad, argued, etc, while the Russian guy sat there like he does not understand what's going on. Then the super best part – the Russian very calmly and loudly said the worst possible swear words in the Russian language, but ESPN apparently has no budget to get a Russian translator and left it in the telecast. Hilarious.

I think the Russian, Ivan Demidov is a solid player. The guy finished 3rd at the WSOP Europe this year.

Yeah, he is solid. Hard trick to repeat – final tables of main event in US a nd Europe in the same year. May never happen again.
BTW, he was not the swearing Russian, that was a different one.

The "swearing Russian" got knocked out the same episode, I think. Demidov seems very solid.

We should do some kinda of a pool, Maybe you get points for picking the exact place with the points increasing for picking the top finishers.

Thanks for the post, Alexis. Good stuff. I tend to agree with most of what you wrote :) I am especially pleased you noted how Tiffany was happy as the other women were getting knocked out. Up until that point, I was rooting for her. After that I started to wonder. And then in the last 4 episodes I decided I really wanted her out. Badly.
I like the pool idea. I'm gonna pass on taking on the setup, though. Thanks :)
If I were to set it up, in the 10 seconds I've thought about it, one way to do it would be to get 9/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 points for picking each place right. Like Dave said, I guess :) It would be slick if you could get points for picking some of the ordering correctly and extra bonus points for picking an exact place, but that sounds complicated. Maybe 9->1 points for exact place and then 3/2/1 points per player if you have them in the right "group" (1-3, 4-6, 7-9)? K, I'm done!

Wait, I have a great idea. I think I know a really good way to collect the data using something awesome I just found at work the other day. I'll get back to ya :)
